Courses Advice
Neil_P
Hi All.
I'm looking for some advice as to which CompTIA courses would be best for me.
I'm going to do the A+ first and then what? Ideally I need a crash course in networking and also Windows Server 2008 onwards.
I did an HND in Computing years ago and have done a lot of troubleshooting since then but never actually got any further certification. My networking knowledge is patchy and I have only a little experience with Windows Server.
I've done some practice exams on the CompTIA A+ and found it relatively easy so that shouldn't be a problem.
Any advice would very much appreciated. Perhaps, however, I should be looking to do Microsoft courses instead? Would they be more focussed than the CompTIA courses? (The systems I will be working with are exclusively Microsoft).
Many thanks in advance,
Neil

Hi there ,
It all depends what you are working , If you have basic knowledge and experience , I would take A+ and then move to Network + / CCNA
I personally studied CCNA right away , but I feel I need to study for A+ . Good luck
