Resources for Stanly CC ICM course

Hello,
I hope this is allowed to be asked but i know many of you have gone through the Stanly CC course for ICM. I am in the class starting at the end of this month. I wanted to ask, is buying the book is mandatory? I know it's not really expensive but i have access to books 24x7 and safari and if the book is there i can simply use that resource.
My real question is, what is the book they use and do i need to purchase it through the bookstore? Thanks for any insight.

you don't need the book, pretty much the slides the lecturer goes through are the pages of the book. -

i never read the book. i wish i never bought it wasted money. I was already familiar with vmware, and i decided to get the VCP6 and mastering vmware book.

Awesome, thank you both. I appreciate it. Mastering vmware is the book i was looking to use and it's free with 24x7.
