SWITCH exam objectives in regards to Official cert guide

When I compare the exam objectives to the official cert guide I find the official cert guide teaches more topics than are listed on the exam objectives.

Not asking for specifics but does the exam contain many extra topics not listed in the objectives.

For example: List of topics in the book not listed in the exam objectives.

SNMP
Syslog and logging
NTP
IP SLA
DHCP

I understand that I need to know them but some of this stuff is even covered in ROUTE.

Wondering how much priority should I dedicate to dive deep into these topics.

I'll just say that SWITCH is not just about switching and neither is ROUTE about routing. Skim over these topics and they will break you on exam day. You need to know this stuff and know it very well.
