VPC from Nexus to Extreme-Networks?

Hey all,

Probably a silly question, but the AV person needs an AVB switch from Extreme Networks. I typically (read: always) use Cisco equipment, and doing VPC from our normal access switches to the Nexus core is no problem, is this still the case when going with a different vendor? I assume so, the other side never knows the difference, but want to make sure.
