Find a Rewarding Career in Cybersecurity
There is a shortage of cybersecurity talent and the demand for skilled professionals continues to grow. In 2016, there were 348,640 cybersecurity jobs left unfilled because organizations could not find talent with the right skill sets. To help fill the skills gap, the SANS Institute created the SANS CyberTalent Immersion Academy, an intensive, accelerated training program that provides SANS world class training and GIAC certifications to quickly and effectively launch careers in cybersecurity.
SANS CyberTalent Immersion Academies are 100% scholarship-based and no cost to participants. Academies are offered throughout the year in a variety of locations.

In other words, if you are a minority (even Asian-Americans like me!), a woman, a veteran, or a resident of Chicago (or Maryland), this scholarship may be an opportunity to take multiple SANS classes AND the corresponding certification exams.
This includes SEC401 (GSEC-GIAC Security Essentials), SEC504 (GCIH-GIAC Certified Incident Handler), and one of {FOR500, ICS410, SEC501, SEC503, SEC511, SEC542, SEC543} - anything from Windows forensic analysis to ICS/SCADA security, intrusion detection, continuous monitoring, and penetration testing.

Application deadlines close on July 16 & September 30 (Cyber Workforce Academy-Maryland), June 26 (VetSuccess Tampa, Virginia Beach, Online), September 28 (VetSuccess San Antonio), in August (Women's Academy), and June 13 & July 3 & beyond (Diversity Cyber Academy Pittsburgh, Chicago, Online, and Dallas).
Get it while it's hot.
