transparent vtp modes

I was studing about vtp modes and I have figure out that I cannot imagine
how I could assign the vtp modes in a real topology.
ok I know...at least one at server mode and all the othes clients BUT
what the heck about the trans mode!?!

can you please provide me with a real topology and the roles of vtp modes in a real manner?

This is for a 2950 series switch, but you can get this type of info on any series switch at cisco.com....
