100-105 vs 200-105

So i'll be honest i never really looked into which exams are for what all i know is 100-105 and 200-105 are a set and then there is 200-125. Now i read 100-105 if passed means your CCENT certified which is cool cause if i pass then fail 200-105 then im still somewhat certified. But whats does the 200-105 offer that the 100-105 don't? Also if i pass CCENT i have 3 years to retake and get 200-105 correct which then re certifies my CCNA? What materials did you use to pass CCENT. I have both CCNA exams and Lpic 2 to study for and take before Sept 26th its just short of 3 months but its stressful. icon_study.gif

    100-105 = ccent
    100-105 + 200-105 = ccna

I see, weird how theirs not much of a salary difference in the CCENT and CCNA, maybe there is in some cities, but basic on my google searches its roughly the same. Would love to pass both but i hope i atleast pass 100-105

    Also 200-125 = ccna

If you have CCNA then CCENT doesn't really matter since CCNA is a higher level. I wouldn't recommend 200-125 though, step it out into 2 steps, 100-105 then 200-105. It may not matter but you can still list both certs on a resume.

But if you reach CCNP I'd probably leave CCENT and CCNA off if you're going for a higher profile job. Up to ya.
    [X] CCENT ICND1 100-105
    [X] CCNA ICND2 200-105
    [X] CCNP ROUTE 300-101
    [X] CCNP SWITCH 300-115
    [X] CCNP TSHOOT 300-135
    [ ] CCDP ARCH 300-320
