CPE Question
backtothegrind
I'm about to resit for my OSCP exam and am scheduled for TrainingCamp at the end of January. I have a question before I do this though. Will my 40 CPE's from obtaining the OSCP apply to the CISSP if I obtain it after the OSCP or should I wait to sit for it until after I obtain the CISSP.
Also how long do the credits that you obtain over the three years that you continue to obtain them apply to your renewal?
Thanks!

I'm not sure if it has changed but the max for self-study towards a passed cert was 30 hours. And no, only CPEs obtained AFTER fully gaining your CISSP deisgnation can be counted.

Thanks for the response and good to know. Looks like I'm holding off then. OSCP has a dedicated 40 ISC2 credits after obtaining the cert.

I wouldn't stress out too much about CPEs. You can simply watch the free webinars and they get credited to your account automatically. No submission process required.
