I might replace the crybary certification video (phase 1) with the linkedin learning CISSP video (made by the same author that wrote the officials study guide). It the videos are free for me, since i have a premium linkedin membership. Not sure if it is free for non premium linkedin members.

If you have the funding, I would add cccure.education test questions. Helped me tremendously both from the testing standpoint as well as knowledge re-enforcement.

How is this plan working for you? I have access to the linkedin videos through my company, do you find they are worth it?

I also have access to the Mike Chapple CISSP videos on LinkedIn (Lynda). The videos give a decent overview, but it's fairly high level. They don't come close to the detail in his Sybex book. I think that Mike did this to try to compliment the content of the book. He also offers some great free resources on his site to accompany the book and videos: https://www.certmike.com/

figured it wouldn't be super in-depth but sometimes listening to the over all context is good enough to help enforce the learning. thanks

That's exactly how I feel about them. I've found that I retain more from listening/participating than just by reading. I've also gotten a lot out of the Thor Pedersen (sp?) videos on Udemy. He offers separate courses on each domain.

You got the name right, have you been through those? Any good?

I've taken two of his courses. He's very thorough and covers the ojectives really well.

They always have sales. I recommend choosing one of his courses just to try.

He has a couple of free CISSP summaries on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=thor+pedersen+cissp
