ECIH Question

Does anyone know if for the ECIH you need to learn the tools (things like Hijack-this 2009, event log **** for Windows NT etc) that are listed in the courseware? The majority of them are now out of date so I really don't want to learn them just for the sake of the exam.

Apologies if this is against any EC-Council policies, if so feel free to ignore!

Yes it would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with the tools listed in the material to at least understand their uses cases/purposes.
