Hi everyone
If you'd like to see the key concepts of ITIL 4 and learn about the changes from v3, we've made our ITIL introduction course free to access until March 31st.
You can access the course here: https://itsm.zone/online-courses/service-management-training/itil/lite/
I'd be very interested to hear what people on this forum think about the changes,
Claire

Mr Robot 255, ITIL v3 and ITIL 4 will run in parallel for a while - I'd expect at least a year. People who are already on the v3 Expert track are being advised by AXELOS to continue on that route, as there will be a bridging course available for Experts towards the end of 2019. If you're studying towards Foundation, you'll need to decide whether v3 or 4 is the most suitable for you, as both exams are available now. For example, if you're working in a v3 aligned organization it would make sense to stay on the v3 track. I've rewritten my pocket guide for ITIL 4 so that will be available via the publishers soon.
At present only the ITIL 4 Foundation is available, with higher level courses and supporting books being written this year.
You can read a bit more about the ITIL 4 certification scheme in this blog: https://itsm.zone/itil-news/introducing-the-new-itil-4/
And if you've got v3 Foundation and you'd like the ITIL 4 Foundation, we've got a discounted upgrade package, but again this is only available until March 31st: https://itsm.zone/online-courses/service-management-training/itil/itil-foundation-training-courses/itil-4-foundation-bridge/
Any other questions I can help with please ask, Claire -

It isn't enough time for me, personally, as I have far too much going on right now, but I do appreciate the thought.
Thank you again!
