Network Shares...
Ok, so what does everyone do for permissions when setting up their shares?
I personally just allow the everyone group to the share portion and then only allow what users I want via the security tab. I was just curious how everyone else does it around here.
Also, I just found out today that XP Home and Pro only allow guest permissions when accessing a share, even if you use username/password info to connect, unless you change simple sharing to off and then under mmc change the sharing permissions to classic and then allow via user credentials.
I just thought I would share this information.
