My job is willing to pay for the Cisco C CT 640-692 RSTECH Training course . Is this certification the equivalent to the CCENT ?

    Here's an article I found on the differences between the CCT and CCENT. To summarize, it says, "the real difference between at CCT and a CCENT is that the CCENT covers a fair amount of theory, getting into Layer 3 and sub-netting. The CCT will talk about the OSI model (for networking) but is really focused on the hardware." According to that, it looks like the CCT is a step below the CCENT. If you wanted to just learn some routing theory in addition to the CCT, I'm sure the CCENT wouldn't be that far out of reach.
