Remembering topics between exams

Hey All, 

Ive completed routing, and have now started switching studies.

My question is how do people remember topics when studying between routing and switching.

I see myself taking atleast 2 months for the switch exam and Im worried Ill loose some, or if not alot, of routing topic knowledge as my role is heavilly switching and firewall based with not alot of routing.

How has everyone else gone about this concern?
