Hey all I'm trying to dive deeper and I'm looking for training and or certs that revolve around web application security.  I know SANS has a couple but i can honestly pull myself to drop 6k+. So if you guys know any alternatives even great books i would greatly appreciate it.

If you have any interest in web app pentesting, Offensive Security has their OSWE, which is a little cheaper than GIAC certs at $1400. Otherwise, you can get GWAPT certified without the official SANS course, and that would only run you $1900 (2 practice tests included).
