Interview with G4S for Threat Analysis Position

Hello Guys!

I have an interview for a Threat Analysis Position - Does this look like a position that could lead to a Cyber Security Position? I currently work in Technical Support. 

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

• Assist in the coordination of global health, safety, emergency management programs
• Coordinate emergency response plans and training for offices located in North America
 • Manage day to day scheduling of the Help Desk and answer questions related to all health, safety and emergency management program
• Assist with the implementation and training of local emergency response team members and coordination of all building drills.
• Assist in the implementation of the annual emergency preparedness fair for client headquarters in Santa Clara and the expansion of the program to non-HQ location
• Assist in documenting accident and injury investigations for employees under the Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
 • Manage all metric data for the health and safety team and provide metrics based on the data received
 • Provide day to day administrative tasks to support the Sr. Manager of Environmental Health and Safety
 • Proactively monitor media and government resources to be current on all global threat conditions that could potentially impact Client’s employees, travelers and sites
 • Responsible for monitoring various media feeds and cross referencing events with the client’s Traveler Locater System (TLS) with all travel itineraries to flag any potential risks to travelers
• Support the Travel Security Program by auditing the escalation process, completing security travel briefings and reports for client’s travelers
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining ongoing local partnerships with various groups such as Travel, Human Resources (HR), Risk Management and GPS Operations
 • Ensuring all Threat Analyst Program training and development standards are met and work with their fellow G4S Supervisors to ensure compliance and adherence to GPS processes and procedures
 • Support the integration of new technologies as they are brought online within their specific region or as part of the global GPS, identify potential opportunities for improvement within the program, and report them to the Program Management Team for possible review and resolution
• Perform day-to-day management of the GPS team during assigned shift, acting as the primary point of escalation at a global level for a variety of crisis management, medical, weather, or facilities related events ensuring quality controls are met
 • Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned account Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• If required for assigned account, must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, specifically in the safety and security industry
 • Must possess each of the following
: • Knowledge of security operations and procedures
 • Knowledge of operations center processes and procedures
 • Understanding of a variety of security and safety devices and controls
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance
 • Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments.
• Knowledge of business operations management and human resources administration.
