Passed ISSMP 7/2/19

Passed the ISSMP today. I prepared for a month using the CISM QAE Database until I reached 85% overall score. Honestly, I thought this test was easier than the CISM.

Congratz on the pass!

I, too, am still scratching my head over using ISACA materials as a good prep to an (ISC)2 exam. The current (ISC)2 CISSP-ISSMP book (2015) has terrible reviews and doesn't look very compatible with the 2018 ISSMP exam revision. I need to go for both the CISM and ISSMP myself, so I'll definitely try this strategy.

Thanks! The ISSMP CBK is garbage. I started reading it and realized it wasn’t going to help me. Everyone says to use the CISM QAE DB, so that’s what I did and it worked for me! That’s my recommendation for anyone going after this one. Once you reach 80-85% consistently, go take the test!
