GIAC CPEs - any tips or suggestions?
Yeah, GIAC really wants to steer you into further courses, and that's fine. I earned GCFA last year and have it covered by passing GWAPT this year. And yeah, the proper place to ask would be GIAC, but I thought I'd see if other had anything to share that isn't obvious.
But if I wanted to get ahead, what sort of things have others submitted for CPEs? I've done things this year like passing the CCSK and Linux+, so would those count?
What about local courses/workshops?
I maintain a blog, so would publishing articles on the blog qualify for some points?

SANS webcasts and local conferences trainings should be able to get you there. Go to giac.org , login, and "Submit CPE" to look at the various categories you have to submit CPE under.
