Data security certifications?
DatabaseHead
I'm currently working in a role at the enterprise level and one big initiative I am helping to enable is our data business team. Giving them more oversight over our IT data program.
One thing that keeps popping up is data security. I really think once this org is stood up there will be some really good opportunities, one of which is around data security. Is there a certification or a BOK that aligns with this that you would recommend?
Thanks

This depends on your business. There is SOX, HIPPA (HR), COBIT, PCI, and ISO to name some. There is also NIST which is a framework that can be used in any organization.
If you are looking for people obtaining certs, you can start here....

Thanks for the heads up. I'm in healthcare, so HL7 is pretty popular.

Then you may want to work your organization to that certification.
Good Luck!
