Data Security Book or On line CBT recommendation?

I work in the data space and would like to either take some training or read a book in regards to data security / information security.  Not really committed to a certification, but if the book aligned with one that would be fine...

Thanks for any suggestions, pretty noob in this space.  Which is pathetic.
