Didn't have a strong desire to take this exam, but management recently announced that it is required. Free training and exam voucher so why not. I used the following to prepare:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/paths/azure-fundamentals/ (free and requires between 9 to 10 hours)
One day training which came with a Skillpipe account. The material is the same as the free stuff from Microsoft above so I skimmed through it.
Only strange experience in all of this was I tried to take the exam from home 5 weeks ago, but the proctor never showed up. I really wanted to get this done before my winter vacation and add it to my 2019 accomplishments for my performance dialogue with management. Oh well.
Next: SANS SEC530 and AZ-500.

chrisone Member Posts: 2,278 ■■■■■■■■■□Congrats on the pass! I got the skillpipe 4-5 day training for the AZ-500 but it was the same as the Microsoft OpenEDX training as well. However that Microsoft training is very good and the github for the course gives you everything you need to pass. I am using the following for AZ-500 and should be taking the exam in 3-4 weeks.OpenEdx - Microsoft Azure Security Technologies (Main Course)
OpenEdx - Lab manual and files GITHUBUdemy - Microsoft AZ-500 Certification: Azure Security Technologies (skylines) (Golden for CBT based training)Udemy - Skylines study reference material
Udemy - Azure AZ-500 Security Technologies Practice Test (Absolutely Necessary!)AZ-500: Managing identity, access and security operations (Additional Insight)AZ-500: Configuring security services and securing data and applications (Additional Insight)Udemy - Azure - Active Directory (not entirely necessary)Good luck on your AZ-500 journey! I found myself having to also acquire MS-500 too since it involves endpoint and ATP. I might be looking into AZ-103 and possibly the Architect path as well.....sigh this better pay off within the next 3 yearsCerts: CISSP, EnCE, OSCP, CRTP, eCTHPv2, eCPPT, eCIR, LFCS, CEH, SPLK-1002, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-900, AZ-500, VHL:Advanced+

Anxious to hear about your experience with the AZ-500 exam. I have the AZ-500 training scheduled for the first week of March so I will just focus on SANS until then.Alphabet soup from (ISC)2, ISACA, GIAC, EC-Council, Microsoft, ITIL, Cisco, Scrum, CompTIA, AWS -
