Hello all,
I am new to this forum and hoping everyone would be able to give me some insight. I an currently a sales tax auditor with an accounting degree. My main goal is to get into IT audit. I have been researching the CISA and understand you can sit for the exam but wouldn’t be certified until you meet the experience requirements. I have had a year internship with an information security department for a local credit union. My question is do you need a certain level of IT knowledge to pass the CISA exam? And after the CISA exam is passed with no experience would that help get some sort of entry level IT audit positions? Thanks!
