2950 Management IP

I have a query regarding the management IP address on my 2950.I setup multiple vlans, create a vlan interface for each and assign an ip address to each vlan. This should be the management ip address for each vlan.
If for instance i have 3 vlan interfaces 2,3,4 all in the shutdown state, when i enable int vlan 2 all is good, when i enable int vlan 3, vlan 3 comes up and vlan 2 goes down.So with my switch i can only have 1 vlan interface in no shutdown at a time. This doesnt seem logically to me, so im wondering is this a feature limitation? A bug on my IOS? Can someone confirm if they see the same behaviour.
Thanks...

forbesl Member Posts: 454You can configure only one management IP (usually vlan1) on L2 Cisco switches.

Just the one management IP per switch, not per VLAN
