Has anybody taken DevOps Engineer exam? If so, how difficult is it in comparison to Solutions Architect (already passed it) and Developer (plan on taking it) and did you pass? What should I expect?

Haven't been on this forum in a while! I actually typed the "techexams" into the search bar, half awake, out of muscle memory! haha

I have the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional. I also renewed it earlier this year (2nd take). Passed the same on my first time both times.
If you have the Architect Professional, the DevOps cert is in the same ball range -- they're both professional exams. If you took the Architect Associate, the DevOps exam is much harder. However, a lot of the difficulty of the AWS Professional exams (in my opinion) comes from reading comprehension and the exam length (stamina + speed needed) as opposed to the actual exam content.

If you've reviewed the exam guide (https://aws.amazon.com/certification/certified-devops-engineer-professional/ on the right side of the page) and nothing surprised you too much, plus have worked with IaC, SDLC and CloudWatch, you should be good. Just realize that the professional exams are very much case study/scenario based and they rarely ask you for a specific definition. It's a long, drawn out paragraph of a question, followed by answers that each might even be longer than the question itself. If this sounds intimidating, you should spend a good amount go time practicing.

I always get out of the AWS Pro and Specialty exams happy that English is my first language btw (my parents are immigrants and I have many friends and family who don't know English as their first language, or grew up speaking non-US-colloquial English).

I'm not sure if this is the information you were looking for, but the exam guide really is the best place to figure out what to expect.

I used ACloudGuru/LinuxAcademy to pass my DevOps pro. I already had the CSA, Developer, and SysOps certs when I took the DevOps Pro the first time. I had 7 AWS certs the second time I took the DevOps pro for renewal. Having the other certs under my belt and AWS exp + general tech/SDLC exp helped immensely.
    Goals for 2018:
Certs: RHCSA, LFCS: Ubuntu, CNCF CKA, CNCF CKAD | AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS Certified Security Specialist, GCP Professional Cloud Architect
Learn: Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus & Golang | Improve: Docker, Python Programming
    To-do | In Progress | Completed

Looks like the last comment I posted before today was also on the AWS DevOps Pro cert

I took the CSAA, not the professional one, so its scenario based just like CSAA, ok, good to know, yeah, Ive already looked over DevOps study guide, and realized I'd need AT LEAST 1 of the Developer/SysOps certs in order to prepare myself for DevOps

I took and passed all 5 associate and pro exams between October and January, in the order SAA, SOA, SAP, DVA and DOP.
The Pro exams are scenario based, with SA Pro being more difficult due to the lengthy questions and answers.

Between SOA and DVA, I suggest you do at least developer associate before attempting DevOps Pro.
Used Stephane Maarek's Udemy course to pass.
