Method of A+ Exam

First post here!!! Love the site so far.

I'm kind of doing things backwards; I've got my Network+, now I'm going for a+. Do I understand that the test is no longer adaptive, but is similar or the same as the N+?

it's still adaptive until september 12th

after that it will revert to linear format.

There's no need to take any exam before Network+, it is entry-level...
