Unable to agree on a solution

Soooo   I haven't run into this before, but recently in my current role we are being told we have to come off from a streaming service that will be decommissioned from our environment, due to cash etc...  We can't get buy-in from any of our teams.  One doesn't want us getting data from one of our transactional databases we are supposed to use the logs, but management doesn't want to spend money on a service to read those logs, that cost additional money so we are stuck at an impasse.  

Have any of you ever ran into such a scenario?  Uh...   If this doesn't get resolved sales operations will shutdown, eerrr....

I think we do but this cloud effort is pretty large and using a ton of resource and some of them left due to insecurity, change etc...    Wednesday we shall find out.
