MCPD Cert Books with ISBN numbers and release dates

Today (6/29/2006) I got my shiny new book ".Net Framework 2.0 Application Development Foundation" 70-536 and in the back it has a timeline with the books that Microsoft will be releasing....

As you know there are three MCPD certs - Web, Application, Enterprise - while working tward these Professional certifications you will pick up MCTS certifications that last as long as the technology is supported.

Exam 70-549 - Designing and Developing Enterprise Applications Using the Microsoft >net 2.0 Framework
ISBN: 0-7356-2338-4
Release Date: November 2006

As you might expect, the Enterprise Developer is the longest path as it is 5 tests instead of 3. But I suspect this is the cert that most of you are going to be chasing.

If you are starting with no Microsoft certifications you will gain a total of 5 certifications while getting your MCPD Enterprise Developer:

70-536 MCP and Welcome Pack
70-528 MCTS Web Client Development
70-526 MCTS Windows Client Development
70-529 MCTS Distributed Application Development
70-549 MCPD Enterprise Developer

Personally I am going to finish up my CompTIA Security+ and start working my way tward MCPD Enterprise.

I do hope this forum expands to support the large group of people that will be looking to obtain this certification
