I passed 70-217 with a 900. Not too hard, coming off the beast. Study materials were the old MS Press book and the ExamCram2.

    Congrats on the pass!!!!
    Very nice score.

I'm taking this one in a few weeks as well...
How would you rate the ExamCram?
Since this is the only book I have at the moment + transcender.

    Kind regards

Eastp, I like the ExamCram2 books, but unless you have a LOT of experience, I would not recommend it as the only book you read. It is meant as a final brush up, and does not cover a lot of topics in enough depth to be your main study guide. Not a knock on the series, that is the market they target, and they do it well. You might want to look at a Sybex or MS Press book as well.

    Thx for the reply.

It wouldn’t be my only study guide (I’m reading anything I can find eg. White papers..).
But you’re right I’ll have a look at them as well.
Haven’t used sybex before, always Ms Press. with in addition the ExamCram.
So perhaps I’ll go with the sybex this time.
As for experience I’m using it for a couple of years..
But not to the full extent

    Kind regards.
