How to prepare the CEH v12 cert?

Hi all!
I am preparing for the CEH v12 certification.
The study guide that is proportioned by EC-Council is very long (about 9000 pages). Do you know any other guide with the important information to study? And any advice to prepare this exam?

I completed the exam in 2016 using the CEH Certified Ethical Hacker All-in-One Exam Guide by Matt Walker as my primary resource.

9K pages? It's almost like ECC doesn't want people to do individual studying and take ECC's C|EH courses instead. That seems to be the strategy used by several other cert vendors who provide mounds of study materials for their certs.
