GIAC renewal timing

My current GIAC certification expires in 2025. I have enough CPEs to renew it now. My question is  - if I renew my certificate today, will it expire 4 year from today (that is in 2027) or 4 years from the current expiration date (that is in 2029). Thank you

    If it expires in 2025 and you renew today, it will be good until 2029.
