A question about My laptop

Its an old fugitsu with windows 95 on it. I want to take 95 off but it wont let me partion the drive in fdisk. Says it cant because "the drive is not locked"??? I want to install windows 98 on the computer. Im just using this computer to watch videos. Can someone help me

    The lock command is built into the command.com which means this command is an internal command and is available in Microsoft Windows 95 and above.

    lock c: - This would lock the C: drive

    unlock c: - This would unlock the C: drive

    it prevents people from running certain progs. i.e. fdisk
