Pleasure to be here with you all.

It's been a dream of mine to work in this industry for a while. Didn't have the chance because of health issues for the past 10 years but I am now in shape to start learning and hoping to become a proper professional.

I'm close to 40 so I have a steep learning curve ahead of me. I'm currently installing cisco and juniper switches where I work, learning as I install, chatgpt has been my mentor so far. There's a Catalyst 1000-8P-2G-L sitting next to my computer at home that I can't wait to play around with, turns out I need a console cable to get it functioning as I'm not getting dhcp from it at the moment.

It feels awesome finally working with something I truly enjoy.
