Hi,
I'm Odd Petunia. I am present for class today for the purpose of reading... I intend to do a good amount of reading. I have the hopeful idea that said reading will naturally orient me to the lush meadow that contains the answers to my many questions. I am likewise not naive enough to think that it will happen quite as simply as that, but, what's so wrong with a girl and her pipe dreams, you know?
I don't have any neat merit badges on my vest or my sash. I'm not a years-long member of the Binary Scouts Brigade or anything, and if I'm super honest, I largely rode in on my dad's, older brother's, favorite cousin's and offspring's father's coattails. They are all good dudes who are brilliant in their respective roles within the scope of IT, but I have mostly oogled and obnoxiously inquired while note-taking over their shoulders and not done an incredible amount of my own sleeves-rolled-up, hands-digitally-dirtied work in the formal sense. I have only a couple of college credits that aren't what you'd call 'fresh' anymore in IT flavored book-learnings, so what I did learn/get to know myself in the formal sense is dated and perhaps not so relevant anymore.
I suppose the TL;DR version is that I have a list of questions/problems I've run into that I would like to answer and/or solve that is as long as an octopus' arm, but I want to answer while doing as little to solidify my idiocy or annoyance to others as I possibly can.
So, with that, a curtsy and smile to you fine gals and guys and off to read I'll go!
Respectfully,
OP
