1000base-cx cable type
Hi,
I read in a book that 1000base-cx uses a fiber optic cable but other books say that 1000base-cx use a special coax cable.
I read on the technotes that 1000base-cx use a special coax cable.
Which cable is correct?
Btw im reading about the protocols now.
Any advice for studying protocols?
Thanks.
Michel

It is specifically designed for short cable runs such as server-to-server connections and specifies a maximum cable length of 25 meters.Btw im reading about the protocols now.
