in CCNA & CCENT
In the CiscoPress CCNA ICND self-study book, there are only commands to configure cisco's "2950 series" switches.
Do I need to know how to configure Cisco's "1900 series" switches on CCNA 640-801 exam ??? (there are minor differences in commands syntax, sometimes confusing)

What self-study books are you reading? My Cisco Press Self-study exam certification guide had some 1900 configuration in it (but from memory I think it was just in one of the apendices (as an extra)). -
