CLEARANCE

Hey, its nice to be here. Anyway I would say for alot of you guys, if you have a clean record and can get a top-secret clearance then go for it. Dont wait for the employer to background you, say it up front, "I have a top-secret clearance". You would be suprised at the edge it can give you.

What's the difference between a background check and clearance? I believe clearance goes beyond just the police record. What kind of informatoin is being collected on citizens that is used in a clearance report?
