BSCI on Resume'
MrD
Just passed the BSCI today, and was wondering how to add it to my resume'. I have an interview tomorrow, so quick input would be great! This is what the certification section of my resume' looks like:
Certifications:
• Pursuing CCNP and MCSA
• Cisco CCNA, BSCI (Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks)
• Microsoft MCP XP Pro (70-270)
• CompTIA A+, Network+
• ETA CNST, CST

I wouldn't list work in progress. Instead, show them that you know your stuff by answering technical questions at the interview. Certs won't get you hired, your knowledge will.

I have the CSPFA exam under my belt, and like yours, it doesn't count for much by itself. I listed it with my other certs as something like "Passed CSPFA towards Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)"
While I agree that certs alone won't get you hired, it usually cannot hurt.

Thanks for the input guys.

I might put the pursuits near the bottom of the list so the achievements aren't thought of as pursuits. Even though what you have is technically right, eyes can decieve and first inpressions is all you get.
