Hi,
I'm a complete noob to this exam stuff so here goes.

I wanna take the 70-270 exam.
What books should I buy and what CD's and so on.

How long is the exam?

Where can I book the Exam?

I live in the uk, where can I buy books.

Is this one good - http://www.microsoft.com/mspress/books/7721.asp ???

If so, where can i buy it from? I've searched for it but cant find it anywhere in the UK.

If I bought that book, would it be the only book I need to buy or do I need more books?

Please someone help me !!!!

Thanks
Zobnsaf

Check out the MS Press, Sybex, and Syngress books: link

Check the forum, there must be hundreds of reviews.

    http://www.vue.com/ or http://www.prometric.com/

Probably any decent bookstore, or amazon.
Probably not. Go with something more known.

Amazon.co.uk. Or if you live in a big enough city, Check out Foyles, Blackwell, Borders, etc.

Buy a different book. Then you might want to use the internet to find other online resources (such as technet) to brush up from.

I would think that Microsoft MSPress is quite well-known...I bet you won't find too many people that have not heard of Microsoft by now. :P

Sorry Omni, I had to have a little fun this morning... icon_wink.gif

Seriously though, as far as books go, I do like Microsoft books myself, along with the ExamCram2. I have never used a Syngress book in 7 exams, but everyone seems to like those.

That said, always get at least 2 books (more if you have time) simply because one might not cover everything in a way that you understand, but the other may fill in those blanks. Also, with each book (most anyway) you get a CD with practice questions on it. These are different with each publisher, so from the start, you have 2 different exams to practice with. Then I suggest getting Transcender, hands-down one of the best, if not the best, practice exam available. CBT Nuggets or TestOut video training may help also if you are better at grasping things by watching videos of how it's done and using visual-aids.

Of course, I would be punished if I did not suggest the most obvious and best training materials available, and those are found right here at TechExams.net!
Find it at the top of any page, or just click right here:
    http://www.techexams.net/technotes.php

and find the Practice questions here:

    Good Luck!!! :D

Get an eval copy of XP pro, install it on a computer and learn by doing.
    IT guy since 12/00

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...
