Interfaces in the sims on the exam

Hey guys,

some of u know i have my 640-801 in 2 days (thursday).

I was just wondering if in the exam if i have to configure some IP addresses in a simulator, do i have to do descriptions on the interface? Or does this not matter?

Thanks in advanced.

It depends on the instructions for that simulation. You have to do what the instructions tell you to do. The good news is: Cisco says that they give partial-credit on the simulations. There is no partial-credit on any of the other questions.

so if it doesnt tell me to do instructions.. then i dont?? Or should i just do it anyway regardless. Could i lose marks for putting a description on when its not needed?

If the requirements of the simulation don't call for it, I wouldn't do it. You have to remember how Cisco words things: they may not come out and say it, but it may be implied. Don't do anything you don't have to, but do everything they want. I doubt extra things count against you, but why risk it? It will cost you time that you may wish for later.
