Well, I thought about putting this in the A+ section, but I thought it was better suited for the general area, since it has to do with all kinds of certs. I recently came across a job ad that referred to A+ as "general server architecture", among skillsets. This was in addition to a lot of other requirements for the position, such as MCSE and CCNA, but the description of A+ was kind of funny. Though, it made me think and I came to the conclusion that I'm going to push my A+ cert in this fashion, from now on; see if I can't have employers focus on the fact that I have the ability to build servers, not just configure them. I guess it's all in the perspective, huh?

That's what I was thinking as well.... -
Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModThat was one of my first thoughts, as well. However, if a hiring company sees A+ as building a machine, it's building a machine. (Not that it makes any sense, but I'm not going to complain, if the pay is right.)
