did anybody use the network+ Q and A book from thomson for the network+ exam?
Is it any good or do i need another test also?

Trust me, take as many practice tests as you can find (that are free, of course)!!!

You know I have that Thompson one, and I get in the high 80% low 90% when I take them randomly. But they have a PDF on their site, that actually has much more detailed questions, that have detailed explanations. you might want to search for that.
The Thompson ones seem to have questions that just plain wrong. I can remember them saying routers are layer2, NetBIOS is routable... that sorta of thing. But yeah, I guess more questions couldn't hurt.
