Has anyone used LearnSmart video training from PrepLogic? I've used CBT Nuggets which seem great for getting a general overview. I'm getting ready to start studying for 70-293. If anyone has used these videos for the MCSE track please, I'd like to hear some input.

'i' before 'e' except after 'c'.... weird? -
hanakuin Member Posts: 144I know that it costs about twice as much as CBT Nuggets, but I'm wondering if it is actually better material than Nuggets? From the free snippits on their website LearnSmart does seem more polished than Nuggets; but I don't want to buy something that looks well presented and ends up being crap.

paulgswanson Member Posts: 311I have the 2 years library thing that they sell, and I like it quite a bit more. Granted I'm an Auditory learner, but the entire interface is excellant. Theres a section for taking notes (and is eaily printed out), theres audio 'remember this" things you can burn to CD's, You can more easily jump from one topic to another since is generally organized better. And look at it this way.
3000$ for unlimitied library access is a way better deal than a crappy time contingent university escecially since you can self pace yourself as fast or as slow as you want. And once your doen and you "Check-in" the material you can pull another topic out as soon as you want. Ultimitly its WAY cheaper than the upfront price when compared to CBT.http://paulswansonblog.wordpress.com/

Qord Member Posts: 632 ■■■■□□□□□□I have a subscription with Preplogic, and I think it's OK. Not great, not bad, just OK. The one thing I really do like about them is the hidden pricing model. I called their support before my trial period was up because I wanted to cancel. They asked me why I wanted to cancel, I said it's too expensive for me. The guy put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back with a few alternatives that are not listed on the site as options, one of which was affordable for me at the time. I thought that was pretty cool, and he got a sale.
If you talk to them, be prepared for a lot of marketing emails and phone calls.
