does anyone know how to make putty work for boson sim?
I found the option where I can change the default telnet but when I launch it, it does not work..
Please advise if someone got this to work with putty or any other telnet other than windows telnet program
thank you

If I got it right , you want to connect with putty on a device ( that has telnet port open ) from the boson sim. This is what you want?..
I don't know if you regulary can do this , coz the boson sim has a ( virtua addresing configuration let's say ) and putty conect's to a real one.I mean if there was some script to embedd .. let's say sim confguration in local Ip addresing from putty.
I may be wrong , coz I may not understand you.Cheer's !Optimism is an occupational hazard of programming: feedback is the treament. (Kent Beck) -

Yes, I wanted to launch putty when I click on telnet to eRouter or eswitch.. instead of your regular telnet.exe from XP being launche as default telnet
But I kinda gave up as I don't think there is anyway to get this done..
I just ended up readjusting the position and size of the telnet that comes with XP... -

But this will only work under the following conditions:
Boson actually runs Telnet rather than simulating it. I suspect the latter.
The command line parameters for Telnet.exe in XP is the same (at least the pertenent parts) as in Putty.
