in CCNA & CCENT
On the MAC address table of a switch, it has four addresses listed.
Two of the addresses apply to one interface, is that because they were learned from another switch and came in on the same interface?

Danman32 Member Posts: 1,243If a port is cascaded into another switch, yes, that would explain it.
The idea of a MAC table is, what port does that switch forward the frame to, to reach the intended MAC? If the MAC cannot be found in the table, then the ports are flooded (except for the port that received the frame of course). -
