Scores over 900?

I thought the highest score could be 900. I see a number of posts where scores are above that. What's up with that?

I believe its 1000 for M$ tests.
for instance I believe the Comptia Security+ test is 900 for top score.

I believe that the MS exams all are scored up to 1000 with a passing score of 700.

Some of (maybe all of) the CompTIA exams are graded on scale up to 900.

The passing score is now 700 for most Microsoft exams, however the maximum score (which used to be 1000 across the board) now varies, it all depends on the complexity of that particular test. So the "out of" or the maximum score could be anywhere from 900 to 1000.
