Moving up in IT, got a new job!

I recently quit my job working as a field tech, I did it for six months and it just started to become too much for $12 an hour, plus the fact that my paychecks were being dumped right into my vehicle because of the wear put on it from the job, it just was not worth it. And I am only 21 still living at home, so I don’t have many bills to pay, I figured it was smart to get out while I can. After a week and half of being unemployed I have a new job, it’s though a subcontracting company but it is a year long contract working desktop support for IBM in Boston. Rate is $18 an hour with benefits. I am pretty excited, my old job got boring fast as it was mostly break/fix on hardware, but with this position I should be able to learn tons and get some great hands on experience that will make getting my MCSA easier. The pay increase is a huge step up from my other job and IBM will look great on my resume, I start in a little over a week!
