Learning Curve

Hello all,

I'm curious to see what it's like to start up on the Security+ track. I have a vague understanding of network security and I am A+, Net+, MCDST certified and will be MCSA soon.

I've got two months until I leave my current contract employer. They'll pay for all the exams I can take while I'm here. Is it realistic that I can cram and get this exam in from very little knowledge to start with by then?

Thanks in advance!

    Yes.

The question is, "how much of it will you retain"?

if they're paying go for it ou have ontihng to loose

retention wel everyone is different. I tihkn it's more improtant that u rember how/where to get the answer than that you;ve memorized a bunch of info.

memorization is great but if you can't implment it then it's useless ot spew out well this encrption agorithum is X number of bit and that one is Y number of bits.... great but in the real world why would you choose to implemnt one over the other what are the pros and cons.... and what factros do you look at. those are more important thna being able to reguratate numbers and facts IMO
