Resume Experience

I have a quick question about how much is couned toward experience when writing a resume? back in 2000-2002 i was in the cisco netacad at a local college. In those classes i was constantly going beyond the ciriculum and putting together test networks. Does this kind of thing count as experience? Or would you just count actual making money jobs? It was hands on experince with CISCO devices....
Thanks
John

Hey that's a great question. I'm taking those same classes now and have been wondering that. My professor told me to save all of the Cisco Case Studies that I've done and I can put them in a binder to give to potential hiring managers. This will give them examples of actual work that you've done.
Its real equipment, so there is no reason why it shouldn't be considered real-world experience...that's my .02
