NEED SOME HELP...Was playing w/ a 2000 Pro install and then going to load XP. Now, I can't load anything...I get to 2000 and it says I don't have access to load. I'm logged in as the administrator and nothing but errors....I've tried to load a small compression app from the net and it won't let me even do that...'access to registry is denied' when it tries to create the reg key...any ideas?????

What do you mean by 'load'? Did you upgrade or did you install Windows XP on a separate partition..? -

Have you checked the upgrade log? Can you get into the Event Viewer?
If all else fails, you could try to do the isntallation again... an in-place re-install as MS calls it... install XP on the same volume, same folder, same settings and it should maintain the user settings as well...
