Multicast
I am reading the Cisco PDF on Multicast routing. I just finished reading about PIM-DM/SM and now I am onto the Auto-RP and BSR. Since this is new to me I am having a hard time understanding it, and the Cisco PDF sometimes does not do justice (they are a good review). I took a look at the Cisco website for multicast routing but what I found I was not impressed with. Has anyone here struggled with this before? If so what reading did you use that explained it in detail enough to understand? I would appreciate any links! Thanks!
Now working full time!

Try just the Configuring IP Multicast Routing part.
For the CCIE Lab I'm using Doyle Vol 2 and Developing IP Multicast Networks, Volume 1 by Williamson as my guide for what to study -- if it isn't in those 2 books, I just glance at the Doc CD Multicast Documentation to see what the stuff is, and then move on. If I find multicast topics in the lab workbooks that aren't in Doyle and Williamson, then I'll have to rethink this.
Working hands-on with the stuff should make it "click.":mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -
